Washing Detergents

Recently i was given a tonne of secondhand clothes for dd by a friend of a friend. I have no idea what she washed them in but OMG they smelt devine.
I wash all of dd things in softly because it keeps them soft and they smell nice and i use the top loader for her stuff coz i can adjust the water depending on the size of the load.I wash our things in OMO for front loaders it smells ok.

I have lux flakes but hate the smell of them on their own - what are some other really nice smelling washing stuff could i use? i love how other peoples clothes smell so nice but ours never do what am i doing wrong??

I've started using Omo Small & Mighty - it smells just gorgeous! And actually lasts for ages as well, I've had the same bottle for almost 3 months!
