The NSW Food Authority advises:
Spiral Foods Pty Ltd is recalling batch of imported soy milk sold in NSW in Coles, Woolworths, Safeway and Metcash supermarkets, health food shops and cafes.
The recalled batch contains high levels of iodine, which can cause thyroid toxicosis, palpitations, fatigue, weight gain or loss or mental clouding.
The recalled product is:
Bonsoy Soy Milk produced by MARUSAN-AI CO., LTD, Japan, in 1 litre Tetra packs with all ‘best before’ dates up to and including 03.11.11.
The recall applies to only the above batches from this manufacturer/importer.
Consumers should take care to not consume the product and if unwell or concerned about their consumption should consult their doctor. Cafés and restaurants should stop using the product.
Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.

I drink soy cant drink normal milk but i dont use that brand
Are other soy milks ok?
speaking of soy milk
i was at my MW office the other week,there was a sign on the wall that said
'do you drink soy milk' ask us here or something it was liuke there was a problem with soy and pregnancy or breast feeding
i asked the MW butt he one on at the time didnt know what it was about
hhmmm
