Question What sticky name labels do you use for your childrens things at school, CC, etc?

I was looking at the 'Stuck on you' range and thinking about purchasing but thought I would ask you guys what you have used for your kids.

What brand did you use and were you happy with them?

I have only ever used stuck on you. They are awesome and really good quality. I have had labels on the kids tupperware sandwich containers for years and they still look new, the writing isn't scratched up or anything. I can't see myself ever using a different brand.

I love the stuck on you ones too, although after a while they fade and will come off if washed in the dishwasher a lot.

    Thanks for the feedback Trill.

    Which ones did you get?

Also have you bought the clothes labels?? Do you know if the iron on or the stick on labels are better?

I have used Stuck on You with DS1 and have labels on sandwhich containers (washed in dishwasher) and drink bottle (not washed in dishwasher). After ???? (over 12 months of use i think) i have recently changed the drink bottle label as it faded. But that is used EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm not bothered by that at all.

Just recently i purchased some labels for DS2 from Moo and i have to say my first impression of them was they were pretty average compared to Stuck on You. The quality of the label and the way they were presented.

So i can't say how the wear of the Moo lables are yet as they've hardly been used but if i could choose again i'd probably go Stuck on You

I have used both the SOY vinyl stickers and the iron on clothes labels.
I loved the stickers and hated the iron ons - I followed the directions but nothing stuck them on to the clothes no matter what I did they just came off straight away.

I love and have bought the Bright Star Kids one's for DD, their daycare pack was excellent value.

We are really happy with them and they often have really good deals going and I found them better value for monday that Stuck on You.

It is also worth googling the company you chose to go with, or the others as well for dicounts codes or coupons, I got an extra 15% off by finding a valid code online

I see that stuck on you has a great sale on atm so if you chose them I would do so quickly!

Also I really recommend to NOT get named bags or t-shirts/clothes etc, from a Stranger Danger point of view, you never know who is lurking and those a great ways for someone to know your childs name without needing to enquire IYKWIM

I have the regular large labels, the original shaped labels and some Penny Scalan designer ones. All of them have been great. I have the iron on clothing labels too (not the tattoo ones though) and I said in a thread the other day I had them on some school shorts for 2 years and had to pull them off to give the shorts away and they were firmly stuck on there even after all that time. I have school jumpers that have been used for 4 years now and the labels are still on there.

I have the name bag tags and had never considered what you just mentioned *beema*
At least at this stage my little ones aren't going anywhere without me with their bags on their back Will keep that in mind for school though.

Jols, I did get the full name ones with L's name on them, but when I use them for a unisex item I cut off his first name and just use the last name.

Olive-they also do split packs where you can have half the labels with one childs name and half with the other childs name.
