How do I find...

FDC in my area? I found a website that claimed to be a directory of all types of childcare but when I searched in my area on one page I got info on FDC and then I clicked onto something and got a list of child care centres and cannot for the life of me find the FDC stuff (I stupidly closed the browser )

So I have been sat here trying for all my brain power to remember what site it was and googling all sorts of things and nadda

After all that, my question is... is there a site I am not aware of that I can easily find FDC in my area?

Have you checked out familydaycare dot come dot au? Then search your area?

also my child dot gov dot au should have the childcare listings too with fees and everything

No worries hun, sometimes after searching for something for so long our brain goes all mushy

The good news is I found my area and have emailed them off an enquiry... I won't need care until August 2010 so hopefully I can get something before then

Mine is run through my local Council. Give them a ring.

Mine is run through Centacare which is a Catholic organisation, i think they have them all over Sydney.

you can also look them up at ncac dot gov dot au. they tell you the accreditation of all registered centres

Thanks everyone, my local area's one is run through the council. They have contacted me and are sending me out an info pack
