    Stainless Steel Cook Top

How on earth do I keep my new Stainless Steel cook top looking nice? It always seems to have streaks in it and is starting to scratch where I've been wiping it. It's the first thing you see when you walk into my kitchen so I want it looking beautiful.

It is a very expensive brand but we bought it off the shop display so came with no box, instructions etc.

Clean it only with a soft cloth/kitchen cloth and stainless steel powder cleaner. I know you can get it from Harris Scarfe, but I forget what its called. I have the stuff from Esteele.

You dont need to buy special cleaners.
Hot soapy water and then polish it with SODA WATER I don't know a single kitchen that buys Stainless Steel Cleaner - they all use soda water

No chemicals and SUPER cheap to do

I find windex works wonderfully on all my stainless steel appliances. I use it to clean off the much and then just give it a bit of a buff like you would with a mirror.

When mine needs a clean I dampen it down a good time before I actually wipe it. Depending on how dirty or greasy I use only warm soapy water or a bit of bam. Then use a hot damp sponge to work off any stuck on stuff. Wipe it over with paper towel and finish it with metho to get rid of any streaks.
