Funky mould in shower- how do I fix it???

So I went on stirke a long time ago and didn't do the bottom of our shower for a few weeks. The result was we got the first specks of black mould in the rubbery stuff in the corners of the shower floor...

Now I clean it every week with Ajax Ultra Bathroom spray, and I give it a good scrub in the corners and all, but the mould just keeps growing! How do I stop it?

Sorry I know this is gross, but I'm at my wits end as I keep cleaning and it keeps growing!

Would just love some help if anyone has been here or knows what I need to do...

    TIA

Have you tried exit mould. We used that on our old shower and it worked wonders. I think with normal bathroom spray it doesnt kill the mould just cleans it.

clove oil is really nice for keeping mould at bay. Natural, too... Very, very fragrant, but not in the awful way that many chemical cleaners are.

You'll probably need to give it a really good scrub with a brush to remove it, then give it a good wipe over with clove oil. You can make your own cleaners using things like baking soda and vinegar and adding clove oil directly to that also.

... i'd spray Exit Mould (and don't use the cheaper versions) on it and leave for a few hours BUT check on it every so often so that it's not turning any other colour like orange or pinkish tones cause if it is then rinse it off with water asap !!

Make sure there is ventilation when doing so, like leave a window open to the bathroom ... be careful with the Exit Mould to not get on clothes, any fabric as can bleach them ... also if your even the slightest asthmatic when using maybe wear a mask !!

Also be careful with taps as can give a rust effect ... so sorry so many warnings here BUT this stuff is powerful and truly WORKS

Thanks girls I will get onto it today. Really hoping it works as I've turned into a bit of a clean freak now and it's super frustrating that I can't get rid of it!
