Question Something 'touching' my feet ... Does anyone experience this too ??

    Hi all,

I know, i know sounds like i have gone nuts but i have experienced ' something ' touching my feet for several years now but heaps more the past few months to the point it's starting to irritate me as it's happening nearly every night and only when i'm on my own in the loungeroom when sitting on the couch ... sometimes it's a tickle under the feet or mostly a slight stroke on top of the foot ... and funny enough mostly my right foot.

One night the tickle was so hard under my foot i actually laughed out loud

The sensation is coming from the outside of my body on the top of my skin ... not coming from within as if it was a circulation problem or rather.

(Pity it isn't a back massage i'm getting instead, lol )

My question is does anyone out there experience this too or similar and on a regular basis ??

Would be very interested to know

Wow I have never experienced something like that...have you had someone who has passed that used to tickle your feet when you were little? It maybe their way of telling you they are around?

.... hey Boomba, nope no one ever tickled my feet but strangely i've noticed it more since my DP's Grandmother passed away in April 2008 and more again more often since my SIL passed away a few months ago (October 2009) ... infact the night i laughed out loud from tickling under the foot i told DP after he was on the phone with someone that it had happened ... then he mentioned it was SIL's widow (DP's brother) he was just talking on the phone with when it happened ...

I guess i just find it kind of strange as it's been happening for a few years now BUT it's NOW become nearly every night

I havent had anything happen to me but my mum has. When she was with my father, after he would hit her she would stand infront of the kitchen sink and would cry. Everytime that happened she felt something stroking her back, she found it so comforting. She believed it was her nanna. Then when her pop died in 2001 she got his car in the will and she believed he was in the car with her everytime she drove it, until she was done grieving he left.

My mum saw a psychic and she was told she has many spirits surrounding her, looking out for her. Maybe you should see one and see what they say, maybe they can tell you who is doing it.

Hmm maybe your feet are the best place to recieve sprit energy as they are connected to the ground?

Definitely try to get in contact wiht a medium as they will be able to see and tell you ...hopefully!

I quite often have the sensation of a warm hand on my lower leg or foot. It sometimes happens when I'm feeling quite anxious and it's very comforting when it does happen. No tickling though, that would drive me INSANE.

Someone once told my cousin that I have a guardian angel, and the person they said it was I wasn't very close to IRL - I often wonder if it is him

On another note, do you think it could be some kind of nerve compression, or even stress? I have some "numbness" from time to time when I'm stressed out. For a while there I could have sworn I had a piece of sticky tape stuck to my back because of the muted sensation. Still happens from time to time when I'm stressed? Just thinking.

Or you could put it out there that it's not funny any more, though you appreciate the thought?

    Thumbs up

Good point Tish ... as that crossed my mind too but i'm pretty sure it's not as i didn't mention before i get touched and stroked on other places of my body but nowhere near as much as what's happening with my feet & ankels BUT having said that i think i might ask the GP when i see her next to make sure (bit of peace of mind i guess) ... Hey thanks Tish for suggesting it xOx
