Help please! Rather embarressing! TMI Warning!

I am in dire need of help and am not too confident in asking my Dr about this problem yet! (I think I like the "anonymity" of hiding behind a computer screen!) This might be a bit jumbled...

Anyway... I have 2 gorgeous kiddies. Master O is 2.5 and Miss M is 6 months. With Master O I had an episiotomy which was cut to the side and not "straight through" and with Miss M I had second degree tears and I needed stitches as I tore. DTD after Master O was a little uncomfortable for a while but I don't remember it being this bad 6 months on. This time I think it is getting worse! It hurts that much when we DTD and it feels like I have been stitched up too far. (The more I type, the more I think I need to speak to my Dr! ) So poor DH is missing out and I am frustrated and getting quite upset about the whole situation. We have tried everything...top, bottom, sideways, lubricant.. you get the picture I am still bfing, I know that can affect things but am not sure if it's the case here.

So really... nothing is working and I am looking to you guys for a miracle so I don't have to face my Dr about this on Friday

I think you have to speak with your doctor.
Can you have a look your self(with a mirror) to see if you can tell?
I can still occasionally feel my epi scar while DTD 4+ yrs on(and another child since)

I have read that sometimes the scar tissue is to tight so needs to be recut..

It might be time to visit your GP. If you aren't comfortable with your regular one then go to one you will most likely not see again

Thanks ladies! Just looked and my Drs appt is tomorrow morning! Argh!

It's not that I'm not comfortable with my Dr but I just hate bringing stuff like this up. Anyway, I guess I'll have to wait and see what he says!

I reckon my scar hurt whilst DTD for longer than 6 months - consequently we hadn't DTD that much. Eventually, the pain just disappeared and now all is good. The same thing happened with a friend of mine.

Oh Squid, you poor thing. That would have been horrible.

Well, this morning my Dr found that I have an ulcer at the "entrance". He thinks it is just from tearing and having stitches blah blah blah. I have an ointment so hopefully it sorts itself out quickly!

Oh goody D, sounds like a reasonably simple problem to fix, woohoo!

Fingers crossed Nice to know it should be a quick fix!

I can't believe you're pretty much 28 weeks already! Crazy how time flies!
