How often do you get your super short hair cut?

I had a haircut today only 4 weeks since I got it cut super short again and was wondering how often do other people with a short haircut get theirs cut to keep the shape and maintain the short length? I could have gone nearly 2 weeks ago because it started getting too long and when my hair starts to get long it starts to curl, which just looks crappy at this length, which is only 2 inches long anyway on top (back and sides are shorter). I have another appt in 3wks and we will see if that is better than 4 weeks. Hopefully I don't have to go every 2wks!

I once had mine super short & I could only go 3 weeks without a cut... My hair grows like weeds & it sounds like yours does too...

Same...when mine was supershort, I would get it trimmed constantly......but one of my BF's is a hairdresser, so she'd just get it for me! Hence why I'm growing it now (and it's at that awkward stage between short and not being able to put it back).....I'm not around her, and I'm too scared to get it cut in asia!!!

LOL MiniMax. Deb, it does grow really quick when it's short and it is super thick as well and just looks terrible. Looks awesome now though LOL

i've got super short and super dooper thick hair and lots of it too . I can go about 5 weeks between haircuts, but just. I get it thinned out to the max.

I used to get mine razor cut (ouchies) and now it's just so boofy!! Argh, thick hair....but it looks oh so good when it's just been cut megga short!

And how do you style it? Do you wear it slick or messy? I tend to have the fringe sectioned out and slicked down to the side and then blow dry the rest all messy.

i wear it slick. With a blob of gel, i run my hands through my hair, flattening the front a little, boofing the back a tad and sometimes slide a cute bobby pin (with diamontes etc..) to the flattened section at the front. It looks cute, i reckon. Just like my avvy really

I just let mine grow and grow and grow... until it gives me the absolute irrits and DH shaves it off with the clippers for me..

Which is what he did a little while ago, so its just getting to a nice length now where my fudgy stuff actually works..

Still boofy though...

He didn't do too bad a job really (I mean, you can't really stuff up with clippers I suppose). Shame we aren't friends on facebook cos I took pics of it when our clippers stopped working halfway through and he had to run out at 10pm and get some new ones!!

I get mine cut every 3-4 weeks, 5 if I really stretch it out... I used to just get it cut mega short and spike it up with gel but I had that style for years. I now have it short at the back and longer at the front, thinned out all over and textured to the max but it only looks good when I straighten it and use wax on the ends. Heaps of mucking around but I feel good after Ive done it

4-5 weeks. I have gone 6 weeks a few times but not without looking a bit shaggy. I'm fussy tho about who does my hair... a really good cut lasts longer than an ordinary one.

I have found the secret to happy super short hair is "product". I buy whatever overpriced thing the hairdresser recommends, it lasts for ages & is well worth the price IMO.

Just a quick note OT - you absolutely CAN stuff up with clippers!! "I'll just take the guard off for a sec to get that little bit at the front where the cowlick is making it look odd...
