    Wiring funds to the US??

I am STILL trying to make a payment for some items in the US which is proving to be rather annoying and have only just been told they will only accept a wire of funds for sales over $400 - why they didn't have that in the internation info bit is beyond me.

Anyway to do that I need a branch number but int he info they have provided me thay have a Swift# which is a combo of letters and numbers and an ABA routing# can anyone help me and tell me which is the branch number??

I swear this is the LAST time I ever go through these people its far too difficult

Some newsagencies can do it. There's one near me with a Western Union sign out the front.

Why can't they just use paypal?

Go to the western union website, you can search for an agency near you.

Tinks we tried that too initially but they said my account was unconfirmed (which it isn't) so I had to wait for the funds to be refunded its been a long and drawn out process and TBH if the items were not so cheap over there compared to here I wouldn't be bothering.

so I have to go to a newsagency to do this? Blimey how hard does it have to be I don't even know if the one closest to me does this

I would give your bank a call - they should be able to help you. I have had funds transferred to me from overseas and they needed the swift code to do this. I think the swift code is like the international bsb for banks. Good luck
