Question Where can I get shelving with baskets for kid's storage?

Does anyone know where I can buy storage shelves with pull out baskets? I want some for our boy's bedroom to store all their toys away neatly. The only place I can find them (online) is Ikea, but they only have plastic tubs, not baskets. DH is not keen on plastic tubs because he thinks they look untidy. He likes the idea of nice looking baskets, but I can't find anyone who sells them.

So, just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction?

    TIA

The only place I know of is Howards Storage, this is where we got baskets for DS' room.
But we got a white wire unit which may not be what you're after.

Thanks CheezelMonster . I had a look online at Howard's this morning, but they don't show much of their range on their site. I might have to go in and have a look. Thanks for your help!

Ikea have baskets too. Not all of their stock is online.
You can get those shelves with cube shape holes and have baskets in all or some of those, my friend has this set up at her place and we're considering it for the boys' toys.
Howards Storgae World are notoriously expensive for what you get.

We have the plastic ones and they look really neat, not untidy at all. You can choose to have all matching colours or go multi-colour. The good thing about them is that they are pretty sturdy and washable

I have also seen basket style ones at Ikea too so maybe go into the store - they might have more on display than on the website.

Ooh, thanks Pandora & Tinks . I only looked online (it's easier atm LOL) and couldn't find anything that DH was happy with. Looks like we'll have to go and have a look instead. Ikea is such an ordeal with three kids . And yep, I agree that Howard's storage is so expensive!

Thanks Nai, I'll definitely get DH to look at them in person. I think the plastic tubs look great, but DH turned his nose up at them when I showed him photos last night. He's so hard to please!

I have found baskets at Kmart before, and also some of those 'warehouse' type places. There is one at Knox opposite Pumpkin Patch - even The Reject Shop would be worth a look.

    I luuurve baskets.

Thanks Lulu! I have checked out the Reject Shop and they do have some nice baskets atm, they are a natural kind of colour, but I'm hoping to find white ones. I'll have to check out Kmart and Knox, thanks for the suggestions

Target and Kmart both had white woven baskets this week with Gingham inserts - not sure if it is just my average housework but we had some that got quite dusty and I have since swapped over to plastic buckets! Happy shopping!

I got mine from Kmart, and they are GREAT for toys! Especially those pesky matchbox cars!

You could always paint the baskets white especially if you get them cheap.

The baskets at the Reject Shop are made from a kind of rope-looking weave (ITMS) and are too textured to paint. But if I find some elsewhere cheap, it's definitely a great idea to paint them

Try tictactoe furniture in Pakenham Google it and it should be the first link. They are a tad on the exxy side but so beautifully made it's worth it!

We have the Ikea one you are talking about and we love it. You could buy a pigeon hole unit and then buy the baskets seperately. I bought some lovely natural weave baskets from KMart. They are very sturdy.
