Did I Tell You How Great Our New House Is?

Sorry to be a cat with the cream but hey, after starting six gazillion threads with all the things that give me the irrits about my current house and our dilemmas re buying/renting/what area/whether to move DSD out of her current school etc. I reckon I'm entitled to smell the roses.

FINALLY.

And I hope this gives hope to all the other people out there who are completely frustrated by looking for a house.

So these are the things Iove about our new house.

It has four bedrooms.
It has two bathrooms.
Which means I, after 40 years, get an ensuite.
Not only do I get an ensuite, I get my own sitting room/office off the master bedroom.
Each bedroom has WIRs.
It has a separate, HUGE laundry ... I no longer have to dry clothes in the bathroom.
The kids bedrooms are in a different part of the house to the master bedroom and living room.
I no longer have to pad around in the living room scared of waking people up.
We have a huge backyard. We will have enough space to get swings, slides you name it for DD.
It has established trees. DD can have a treehouse.
It has a huge shed. DP can store all his stuff in there and use it as his study.
We are moving to a new place. DP and I can discover the town and its people together.
I will not be scared of driving. I will have more freedom than in Melbourne.
We can all get bikes.
I think I will get more visitors than I do now!
