Question Hiding my thighs at the beach/pool

We were at the beach today and enjoyed it so thoroughly we've decided it's something we should do more often. Only I didn't swim, I paddled, wearning regular clothes.

...I'm not sure the general public is ready for the sight of my gloriously white & podgy thighs.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to spare the viewing public?...I did have some boardies which are good in the water but as soon as you get out they stick to your thighs revealing a very unflattering silhouette. I'll take retail suggestions too if anyone's got them.

I am not much help as I hate my thighs so much but a bit of fake tan gives makes them look a bit nicer then blinding white (which they would be as I never get them out).

I think the problem is with any type of clothing covering, it is going to stick to the skin when wet.

Maybe a dark colour boardie or like a swim dress- its liek a cossie but has a layer over the top of it that looks like a short dress. Have seen these at Myer.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for more ideas!

Yeah, I was going to say a swim dress, or one of those wrap skirts made out of swimmer material? they always seem to be very flattering...
