Location consultant recommendation

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good sympathetic LC on the Northern Beaches in Sydney.

Little one is now just over 4 months old and we have persevered through a lot of breast feeding issues since day 1. Throughout this I got very stressed and anxious about the whole thing as he was a smaller lower weight gaining baby. Way way better now and much more relaxed (though probably will never be 100% confidenct) but am thinking of having a chat with an expert as to how to approach the next few months with solids etc looming. We are also going overseas for a month when he will be six months old so any decisions I make regarding weaning / starting solids need to be made before then as it will be enough of an upheaval without adding this to the mix.

If anyone could recommend someone that would be great. I think it will enable me to approach the next step a lot more confidently and someone sympathetic to a paranoid mother would be great!

I can't give you an LC recommendation, but I wanted to reassure you that starting solids may not be that stressful. Why don't you check out the BLS area? If you just offer baby bits of what you are eating, you may find he's happy to take some or would rather wait. Your bm will most likely be enough for him until 7 mths.

I started my DD on BLS at 6 mths and it took her about a month to be interested. She was a voracious eater after that and still is!
