Vacuum the hard floors in your house?

I have always vacuumed them because I find I can mop them better after being vacuumed. A friend of mine thinks thinks it's odd that I do. She sweeps hers.

Yes! My god stuff sweeping them lol. We have a dog and a cat and the malt so bad :S

I use the Sabco Super Swish broom / mop with the microfibre pads and I swear by it. So I use that, its fantastic it picks up all the hair and dust really well.. then I use the wet microfibre cloth to wash the floor.

Before I got this, I would vacuum and then mop, so no I dont think its that unusual!

If I've been on a cleaning binge and done the floors recently, I'm happy with just sweeping - but if it's been a week (or four ) I'll vacuum, coz its quicker. Or I'll vacuum if I can't be bothered sweeping.

I don't even own a broom lol, so yeah I always vacuum- but i thought that was normal.

Generally Vacum first occasionally will use swiffer and pad first.

oh dear...we only have hard floors. I'll be buggared if I'm sweeping the lot! Don't worry I vacuum too.
If it's only a little bit I want done though (like just the middle of the kitchen or something then usually I can't be bothered with the vacuum either so the broom is easier to get out - but only if it's a little bit.

I vacuum ours too. I do sweep almost every day in the main living areas though, just to keep on top of all the stuff my two boys bring in with them

I sweep most days but when I am mopping I vac the floors.. I find it gets up more stuff then just sweeping.. Sometimes I sweep then vac then mop

i will sweep every couple of days but if i am to mop i will swwep then vacuum then mop

i own a broom but i prefer to vacuum all the floors. so Tinks your not the only odd person
