bird lice??

Yesterday DH found a dead bird in the roller door. He removed it, and ever since there are billions of what seems to be lice in the area. So now everytime you walk through the garage we get attacked. Is there anything we can spray or something to get rid of them?

a "bomb" pest control maybe? But if it's not enclosed that wouldn't do much. I reckon head to bunnings and look there for the best option ...

You should be able to get a spray for 'bird lice' in your local pet shop - or better still a stock feed/rural type store. Not sure that it will be lice, or rather just insects attacking a dead thing...hope by now that the prob has gone...

It ended up going away on its own after a couple of days, but I'll definitely keep the suggestions in mind for future reference.
