1st night in Big Girl Bed!

Woohoooo Miss B had her 1st night in the big girl bed and both her and mummy slept well!!!
I wasn't too sure if she was ready - but DH thought she was, so i let him make this call all on his own, and yesterday we changed her cot into the big girl bed!
and she was still sound asleep in it when i left for work this morning!
    Fingers crossed this continues!

Girls are just so cute though aren't they?

I hope they can sustain the sleeping in the big girls bed!!

I'm just scared that she will wake up in the middle of the night and go into the lounge and switch on the tv and watch Hi-5 or something!

She has a free standing fan in her room as its pretty hot and Im worried she will wake up and get out and stick her fingers in the fan or something...

DD has the same type of fan and now won't go to sleep without it on (hmm...maybe not a good thing...)If we don't turn it on she goes and turns it on herself and goes back to bed.

Yeah, she wont/cant sleep without a fan on now. Even in the winter i had to have it on for the sound and have it pointed at the wall!
We have the fans on quite alot during the day as our house gets pretty hot and on the few times recently when she has either gone to touch it or nearly accidently grabbed it, i have made such a wierd noise, totally uncontrolable, i jst imagine her little baby fingers flying across the room and a scream comes out......needless to say she is pretty good and stearing clear of the fan!!! im sure she will be fine!!!
Still waiting for the matress to arrive! actually quite excited. What difference has it made to your LOs sleep...what were they doing before that they arnt doing now??

MummaMia, when Zander went into a big bed (21 months) he didn't get ut & took him a good 3-4 months to realise he actually could. It was funny he'd call out "can I get up now?" when he was awake in the mornings!! Juliette on the other hand will be up & down a million times I can guarantee it Some kids will stay in & others will take a while to learn
