FA Website - I need help

I honestly don't know if it's worth all the trouble.

I've not been able to access the website for a month, I now have my CRN and I now need a reciept number! I was told by the FAO that I need to do the online stuff first before contacting Centrelink, and it now looks like I need to contact Centerlink before doing the online stuff.

Can someone please help me and tell me what I actually have to do? Step by step? And not contradicting themselves?!

I was having troubles when I first signed up, as I couldnt log on with the CRN I had. So I called the website help desk and the guy was able to sort it out there and then for me, he created a new CRN and was very helpful..and I have been able to log on ever since with no problems.

Maybe you could try that.

I did my application online and the paperwork (sent to centerlink) at the same time so not sure if that makes a difference. I havent had to go into centerlink office at all.

Hope you sort it out soon, its so frustrating.

i would contact the online services help group - every situation is different as to why you can't login. i went through and created a level one access account with minimal id, got a receipt number from accessing there, then went and upgraded access using that and the other id i had (birth cert number etc)

I just called them and they told me I need to go into the Centerlink office - ARGH!!!! F*%##*( )(%&#$(@ )*#$@)*#$

Can't you tell I'm over it all!
I did the form in December (as it was the first time I was comfortable going out to the shops with DS) at the Family Assistance office, so I don't need to do that again (thank goodness) but OMG it's driving me up the flipping wall!
MW says : Fill out the form, hand it into FAO
FAO in Dec says : You needed to do the online stuff before bringing the form in, but we'll keep it on file
FAO today says : Here's your CRN, now do the stuff online, then you'll go through the interview process at Centerlink
Helpdesk guy says : Bring in some form of ID to Centerlink, then we can get you registered

hun, my msn details are in my profile - if you ping me in a little while, i will see if i can help you - i never went into the c'link office at all. there is no interview needed for baby bonus! it might be a bit hard on msn, but i should be ok time wise as DH is around and DD is in a good enough mood
