    Where can i buy?

My DS is about to turn 1 and i think i would like to buy him a 'rocking animal' (It doesn't have to be a horse). I'm not thinking for a large one, there was one i found that could convert into a ride/push along also. I found it on an English website which won't take c/c outside of England though. Do any of you lovely ladies have an idea of where i can find one? Locally would probably be a better option.

    TIA

Have you googled the name of the toy you want from the English site to see if it is available from anywhere else? I would try that, I can't think of any places right now, but I'll work on it.

The one i fell in love i found in a magazine add (am i allowed to say the name of the website?) it looks to be toddler size. Maybe not the most prctical to grow with them for a few years but i just loved it.

I'll try those websites mentioned thanks

If you're up near the Dandenongs, Geppetto's in Sassafrass has gorgeous ride-on toys that convert to push-toys etc. Ladybug, bee and other designs. Very gorgeous - they are either leather or high-quality vinyl and look amazing.

I just saw a couple of fabulous ones at Coochicoo in Malvern Central. One was a lady bug that could be rocked or ridden (with wheels) and there was another really cute bug type one. Mind you they were a bit pricey, around the $200 mark.

    Thanks for you help ladies.

Kazbah, thanks for letting me know about Geppettos. I had a look on the website and found exactly what i wanted. Gulliver the rock/ride horse was in their shop !! We went for a drive this weekend and we just had to take him home. He's an expensive little creature but DS2 loved him (had a test ride in the shop). Just have to wait for next Wednesday now so we can give him his present!!

    Thank you so much

i'll have to check out Noah's Ark. Sounds great. My ds1 loves all the dinosaur toys in the sassafras one.

next time you're at the olinda one you'll have to check out a lovely little kids' clothes shop across the road called 'Mine'.
