I have no idea what this could do to my baby so early in the pg??
should I go to the dr's or just ride it out?? I don't have a temp or anything, but my body is exhausted from fighting this thing and growing a baby at the same time.
I rested all day yesterday and I will all day today aswell. Any suggestions on how baby will go??
I think they are pretty tough and well hidden from sickness. I had 2 x gastro when I was 9 weeks and I also had the flu / chest infection what I was 13 weeks and bub is now 14 months old!
If you are worried then see your GP and they will gove you a better idea!
I had a bad head cold at 10 weeks and took myself to the Drs. She didn't think I was being over the top and checked me over and gave me some really good advice as to how to combat it. Vitamin C was the main thing she told me to take and I did and it went away within a day.
If you are feeling that it just isn't going away, a trip to the Drs can't hurt. And they won't think any less of you.
The reason you are so sick is because you have no immune system in early pregnancy. Your baby will be fine though your body will bear all the brunt of it and the baby is happily wriggling along without a thought for you and your misery
I hope you're feeling better soon, it's so very tiring being crook and pregnant!
i agree with the other ladies, bubs is completely fine its just mummy that feels awful. Just remember to keep up with your fluids, rest and take Vitamin C. I have a cold too and have had this rotten migraine for 3 days.. but my doctor has said for me to rest and drink lots of water. hope you feel better soon
