We are thinking of buying in Lurnea/Casula/Holsworthy/Wattle Grove.
Can you please give me your HONEST opinion about these areas?
We are interested in up and coming suburbs, where we can still buy a 3 - 4 bedroom house for under $500K and these appeal to us, especially as they have quite a few new developments.
It would be great if you can also give your opinion/recommendations on child care centres etc.
I live in Wattle Grove and I love it!! Its such a family orientated place and is close to the shops, M5 and train. The lake is just lovely to walk around, there are many playgrounds for children and most importantly, Ive always felt safe here. I dont know about childcare because Im a SAHM. Our local papers show that most houses with 3 brms go for around $400-500k and 4 brms go for around $500-620k.
I dont know alot about the other suburbs, but I do know Wattle Grove is much more expensive than Casula, Lurnea and Holsworthy. So if you want a bigger house on a smaller budget, Id probably go with Casula, because the houses are newish, but the area isnt as easy to get to, and trains are a bit further away.
