Yep, try Cheeky Little Soles! My friend is the the actual designer/owner and they are just awesome! They are really well made, they're leather and are cotton lined. The inner lining doesn't have the seams to rub on bub's feet. Both my boys had heaps of pairs, they wore well and I loved them (and not just because she's my friend LOL).

If you check out her website she sometimes sells seconds really cheap too

My DD has a pair of Cheeky Little Soles - they're great.

Make sure you measure their feet before ordering, don't guess! DD was asleep when I ordered mine and I guessed she would be a medium. She woke up, I thought I'd just double check, got out the tape measure and sure enough she needed a large so it was a very hasty phone call to get the order rectified, I just caught it in time.

DS had some Bobux which were also fabulous.

I really liked the Cheeky Little Soles which are suede soled.

I know it's not what you're after yet, but I've found the See Kai Run shoes the only rubber soled shoes with flex in them (and I seriously mean a lot of flex). DS outgrew soft soled shoes before he was two and I don't want him in hard soles, the See Kai Run ones are fantastic. I would actually class them as an early walker (from memory they start from about 12 or 18 months, and go up to the average size for a three year old).

They also do leather soled shoes as well I think. Really expensive though, but as my DS can actually run in them without tripping over constantly, I figure they're worth it.

We love Bobux here - they are NZ made but I have found some children's shops over here sell them.

im after ones more like the see kai run ones rather than the cheeky soles ones.
the see kai run ones look great, the rileyroos are $50 so around the same price

Bobux also do the I-Walk range which are for just after the soft soles. If you just google bobux they have quite a comprehensive website.

I don't think DD would let me anyway. Someone bought her a pair of thongs, and she ripped them off and wouldn't stand up in them, LOL.

We don't really go anywhere she's not in the pram anyway so I guess that's why I never thought of it!
