Tupperware all the way. Exxy but lifetime guarantee and they are fab!
Sick of having to get rid of mice when the temptation of food is right there for them, so decided to find some containers to conquer the food issues once and for all.
I'm looking for the BEST containers people have used in their pantries.
Not too fussed about being able to cook in them as such, as it's more for perishables in the pantry and nothing else. I've got tupperware for the fridge and to cook in, but it's just so expensive.
I've heard good things about lock & lock... but don't actually know anyone that has used them.
Tupperware all the way. Exxy but lifetime guarantee and they are fab!
Tupperware for me too... Nothing beats them... Maybe have a party and see if you can get a few freebies to help...
we have tupperware for most things - but when DH was workign away, i refused to send exxy tupperware with him so we bought some of those locking ones - and they're now used for things like dry biscuits that he is using for work - they keep the food fresh but not as good as the tupperware. the sizes of the containers are pretty limited as wel
We've had mice eat through Tupperware.
Glass all the way if you are wanting to keep your food safe from them.
As a tupper rep - I would definately say go the tupper -I go into many kitchens and I am finding over and over that people will buy the cheaper ones and they still get the weavels and rodents in them.
Someone already said - have a party - that is truly the best way to get any tupperware, its it discounted or even better free!!
Good luck
we use decor containers coz i got them for free coz my stepdad made them at work
Tupperware for me too. I haven't had anything else that's been properly airtight
though for spices I often keep them in tin so they're not in the light
Tupperware for me too. Too hard for the kids to open, stack easily, fit most shelves, good replacement warranty.
Tupperware! i'm a deomonstrator too, it really is the best. comes with 4 different colour choices. have a party, you can get it for free!!!! :-)
I've had 3 parties in 6 months.... I'm all partied out!! No more parties! LOL
I might have to convince hubs to go the tupperware route.... He's not keen though.
were you a guest at a party though? it really is better to be the host cause of all the FREE stuff you get! :-) also i forgot to mention before that most pantry items will last for around 5 YEARS in a modular mate, so you are saving money in the long run.
I've hosted all 3. LOL
oh LOL :-)
Another T'ware rep here, so I'm going to say Tupperware as well! I couldn't stand it before I started demonstrating, thought why have them in the pantry and now I'm addicted!! If anything, the pantry ones are my fave!
My husband is the same, now I reckon he's just as bad as me!I might have to convince hubs to go the tupperware route.... He's not keen though.
The couple that run our distributorship says she's had dessicated coconut in her pantry for about 10yrs coz she only uses it at christmas and to quote her "nobody's dead yet!"
How did MICE eat thru it? lol I can see how glass would be good too, but I have the dropsies alot
Can you convince a friend/relative who has a fridge/pantry full of tupperware to host the party, and share the gift? So it looks like she's the host but you get all the goodies ? My mil did that for me (before I was a demonstrator) coz she hates the stuff, but helped me out anyway.... just a thought!
sconeonamission.. are you in sun city? they did really well at sessions on wed!!
Another Tupperware fan here. I hosted a party a few months ago and got the modular mates kit for free! Plus a few other goodies. Just need a couple more containers and my pantry is all set. Then it's on to my fridge!
The containers keep everything fresh and the food lasts aaaages!
i use Decor. i tend to stock up when Kmart have 30% of plastic storage. they have a heap of different sizes, and ive never had a problem. i use them in the pantry, fridge & freezer.
i did start buying tupperware, but after 2 containers, i just couldn't justify buying one conainer for the same price i could get 6-7 decor ones! IF i could, i would have gone with tupperware, i just cant afford it.
