Was really hoping that there was someone that could give me sum advice with this . since i first did this post 2 months ago found out was pregnant but unfortunatly it was eptopic and misscarried told this common with adenomyosis anyone else had this trubble?
Pain just getting more and more server and doc has given me the pill to try taking without taking the sugar tablets so that i wont get my period hopeing that it gives me a break from my pain! (but also break from trying to conceive)
dont know why but after misscarrage think might need a break from trying to get pregnant really affected me.
and i feel so much guilt towards my 2 children i in alot of pain alot of the month and i cant be the parent that i think that i should be i have boys and they want me to run and play footy ect and there are days that just cant do it i have trubble walking let alone play sport!
After next baby have made the decision to have hysterectomy and hopefully get life back to normal pain free! but really want big family so was hopeing to have one more child!

The doc asked me did what i wanted more to stop the pain or have another baby when i was making the decision to try the pill for a cuple months? My answer was i want to be the best mum to the children that i have (as i cried my eyes out! Obviously i want another child more than to stop pain but its not just me that i need to think about).

I know that im still young and should have plenty of time to have another baby and taking a break from trying not that bigger deal but Finding all this really hard any advise would be great its tearing me apart trying to do what i think best for my kids and push aside what me and husband want!
Has anyone found relief by taking pill like this ?
    Or gone through simmilar situation?

    Adeonomyiosis Sufferer

    Hello,

I just wanted to say chin up! I have just been diagnosed with adenomyiosis. I thought it was enough to have been suffering from endometriosis for over 20 years, but apparently not. Yes, you are very young to have been diagnosed with such a condition, the pain can be unbearable.

I have been focusing on acupuncture and natropathy to reduce the inflammation caused by the adenomyiosis. You could say I rely on acupuncture to get me through every month, I have only just started with a natropath, so will hopefully have a success story to report here. Unfortunately I do not have any children and currenlty booked in to commence the IVF process in August as I have been told I do not have much time left (I am 39). We are not certain whether my 'sad state' of an infrastructure will support the IVF process, however I will know more in August. Otherwise I am seriously considering a hysterectomy (Partial) to inaid my quality of life- PAIN FREE PLEASE!

Best of luck with everything my dear...

    The Pill and Adenomyiosis

    Hi
With being off the pill for 6 months now, I think my pain with both the endometriosis and the adenomyiosis has worsened!! Although I don't want to go back on the pill as apparently inaids the production of estrogen, which makes endo and adenomo worse! A bit of a catch twenty two. Sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy, I have also been told that I am at a high risk of this too if my partner and I proceed with natural conception.

My chinese acupucturist is totally against taking the pill to miss periods, it is not natural for our body to miss periods, as it is our way of removing toxins in our body. In saying that this is not helpful when the pain can be unbearable. In my last post I mentioned that I was utilising natural therapy to manage both conditions, this maybe an option for you?? It can be expensive at times, but it just means sacrificing some of other lifes pleasures....

    I hope this helps ...

Thankyou belinda jane for replying. I really hope that ivf is successful for you fingers crossed!
Really helpful to hear that natural treatment has helped you ive found a lady that specialises on helping people with endo so was hopeing that maybe she would be able to help me naturally as well since the 2 conditions im told are similar? off to see her this week if she helps will be worth every cent!!!
pill was a great break did for only 2 months atleast know i know that it helps if things get to bad didnt really like skipping periods though feels wrong.
Can i ask do you find that your emotions are a little all over ther place due to adenomyosis (not sure what effects endo has)?
Good luck again with the ivf really hope all goes well for you

    Emotions All Over the Place

Hello, that is great news for you, it sounds like you are on a good path. My emotions are all over the place, I do get quite teary and comforting with many hugs from my partner. I don't know if this is caused by the reality that we may not be able to share ourselves with a little junior of our own, although in saying that it is nice to get all the tears and emotions out and not bottle them all up, which us females with endo tend to do!

Thank you for the good wishes, I will definately document how my progress has been. I have noticed that there is another thread on adenomyosios, but I haven't written their. The gals seem to have some good advice and insights into outcomes...
