How common is pregancy while on implanon?

I've been on implanon for almost 2 years. I've found that things are normally fine but my periods are irregular. Generally 40-60 days apart. Oddly I last had 28 days between periods. That's the length of my normal cycles when not on contraception. My boobs have been sore and I've not been feeling myself. I explained how I've been feeling to my doctor and he said it sounds exactly like pregnancy symptoms. I don't think I'm pregnant but am concerned that the Dr though I might be. He didn't do a urine test but did order a blood test to check for pregnancy and iron levels and things. He said that it may just be that the level of hormone that the implanon is releasing is slowly decreasing which is normal, especially because I'm now in the final 12ish months of it's lifespan.

Has anyone gotten pregnant or know someone who has gotten pregnant on implanon? How long had they had the implanon? How far along were they when they found out they were pregnant?

When I had it my GP told me to POAS every 3 months or so just to be sure. I ould POAS if I was you. Good luck (but you know I secretly hope you are :P)

I had the implanon in and my periods were so out of whack it wasnt funny i bled for 3 weeks and only had 1 week off, i did get pregnant on the implanon and was around 11 weeks when i found out
