CCTR Question??

Can anyone tell me if CCTR is backpaid? So DD started daycare in November, I finally filled out the right form and submitted it end of Jan. Will I get a payment for last quarter or does it just start from when they get the form?

Hi, it will be back paid as long as you met the criteria. I think it would probably be at the end of the financial year.

I got mine at the end of the financial year last year.

So they normally pay it quarterly but back payments they do at the end of financial year?
Do you have to do something (like fill out another form the size of war and peace ) when it is time for the next quarterly payment or do they just pay it?
It's all so confusing

They will do it when they reconcile your and DP's income at the end of the financial year. If you are ftb current you will not need to do anything except for your tax returns.

Actually I went on the centrelink website the other week and changed how I receive CCTR. I was previously receiving it annually but was able to update to quarterly. This back paid for the last two quarters. If you got any back payment now it will be for one quarter.

In that case - if your tax returns aren't done yet - i think it's all reconciled after you both do your tax. If you were getting FTB you don't need to fill out anything else.
I "think" thats how it works. Maybe BG will be able to help more the confirm that.

child care usually isn't backdated immediately (well, the past four weeks are - anything before that is reconciled at tax time - and only once you've done your taxes)
