Talking Rice, rice, everywhere! On the carpet, in my hair!

As the title suggests today DD is playing with rice .

I have bought a shell inside, put a packet of rice in a big, flat, round container along with her
tea set and she has been playing with it all day!

She is having so much fun and keeps looking at me with a big cheesy smile.

What messy (yet easy to clean) stuff do you do with your toddler?

I have yet to do it at my house but at my friend's house DS likes to play in the bin of dried peas. At home he likes to fingerpaint (in his high chair to containt he mess) and help me bake.

Yep I do the finger painting in the highchair also.

I have thought about cornflour and water but that will be very messy! Maybe the next hot day and pop her in the kiddie pool or bath afterwards.

Ohh not bad or slack Feeb... there is plenty of time to get to the messy stuff , maybe start with big pasta bits first though, even easier to clean up.

    Not overly messy but ......

My DS is currently IN LOVE with pulling every tissue out of the box one by one and sits in the pile of tissues giggling with delight - it's pretty hilarious actually!

He also sits in his ball crawl and throws each ball out - quite a feat to clean up, there are 300 balls in there, fortunately he hasn't got through the whole lot in one sitting hahahahaha
