Depends on how many children is it over night or just in the evening?
is it a qualified Nanny or just a babysitter?
what time will they start and finish?
is it one night or many?

    thanks so much

if you have an idea of the various scenarios i'd be grateful to know them,

but generally i'd like to know if its just occasionally in the evening and perhaps 1 child perhaps 2 children, say from 7-12 at night or something like that.

i'd like to know for someone qualified with alot of experience and unqualified what are standard popular rates or range of rates thanks.

Sue, babysitting rates, using a trained child care worker are about $15 - $20 an hour. Nannies will charge more and I'm not sure how you'd go getting one to work only at night, but you could try the agencies and see how you go.

    thanks for that.

Could i ask you how the difference is defined of a nanny or a babysitter with or without alot of training and experience.

Even of childcare workers there are different levels of training and experience aswell

Thanks for your responses with this.
    much appreciated

well you ask them and you negotiate what you are willing to pay.
unless you go through an agency where you will have set rates hiring someone yourself or if you are the nanny you simply ask.
    there is no SET amount

but would you say most poeple are happy to pay, 15, 18, or 20 at night
and if so then what would be a common day rate.

    for anyone

but also then for someone who is very educated and experienced. thanks.
