    Question is that wrong ?

i was just wondering about this...as i was just told that xp was seen working at soundwave yesterday and a few other places obviously cash in hand jobs.. and i only get the minimum amount of child support from him which i think is about $16.26 or something a fortnight...(of which i have never spent a cent of i put away in an acount for her, and which im positive his mum ends up paying anyway..)
so my question is it illegill him doing that and not telling centerlink? not that im goin g to say anything just proves to me how selfish he is..

Yep, totally illegal. He needs to report all his earnings to centrelink. I have a friend working at soundwave, cash in hand. I'd report him, getting sixteen dollars a fortnight is disgusting and shows how flawed the system can be

Yup as far as I know...legally (and morally) wrong.

Sure is wrong, I'd be dobbing him in, why should your DD be missing out on the full child support payment.

it's wrong if he's on c'link payments - also wrong in that he isn't paying tax either. so yeah, i'd tip off ATO or C'link about it. you may not get any more child support than you're getting now if it's sporadic work and he still qualifies for the newstart - but he should be declaring it

He might not be NOT declaring it - and it would take awhile for any changes to be made....and it would take a pretty big amount for the CSA to change the $$$ too as it's an annual thing.

If he is on Newstart his mum isn't paying the money, it's taken directly out of his payment - don't spend it all at once will ya?

    thanks guys..
what really gets to me was wen he moved away to brisbane he went out of his way at a visit with dd, and said that he wouldnt be working and would be a poor tafe shouldnt for awhile..as if saying you arnt getting any money from me..(which i wouldnt accept anyway) ive never asked for anything and have never recieved a cent since ive been pregnant till now( dd almost 1) besides the cs money which wouldnt do much gd anyway..all dd's cs money goes into her account..

im not going to report it.., i just wanted to confirm that what he was doing is morally wrong.. some men are totally thoughtless..

Sweet Butterfly...weather he is right or wrong - morally or otherwise it makes no difference to you in the long run does it?

It doesn't change your life in any way, shape or form.

You rock, you really do - you have just got on with things regardless of the **** factor, I know it hurts sometimes, but you are too good to be bogged down in the morals (or lack of them) of some stupidhead...
