    I forgot...

In the humdrum of everyday living, and the endless meals, sleeps, baths and nappy changes I forgot....
I forgot about how fabulous it is to watch a little personality emerging.
I forgot how amazing it is to watch tiny hands create their own game
I forgot how hard it was to stop smiling even though you should be serious because little arms and legs climbed to the top of the couch from the ground/top of the bunk ladder (you insert your own here) and the grin of pride that comes with the accomplishment
I forgot how heartmelting it is to watch that little face smiling as he watches his sister play - just cos he can
I forgot how awesome it is when those same tiny hands try to recreate the actions to the songs we sing

I feel so privileged today...dunno why

Oh it's just great isn't it!! I'm loving watching Elijah do all these types of things. I notice the differences between the boys too. Elijah just cracks up laughing when he watches Oskar run up and down the hallway and Oskar then ends up in fits of laughter, they are such beautiful times. Great thread Kim

Its amazing how it makes it all worthwhile!! I was feeling very underappreciated last week, but then DD would smile at me, or sing a song, or want a kiss, and that made all the difference!
