Support for losing weight: Know of any groups or organisations???
Hey lovely people.
So I'm desperate to lose some of the 30kgs I gained when PG with DS. I am super good at maintaining weight, having maintained the 25kgs I lost all the way up to getting PG.
Here's my dilema... I'm a real people person. Whenever I do dieting or excercise with other people I stick to it super well. But when I just do it by myself I seem to slack off. So I'm wondering if anyone knows of any support groups, or ways I can make myself accountable. I can't afford a gym membership or something like weight watchers, but I also hate the idea of counting points... seems silly to me.
If anyone could suggest anything I would greatly appreciate it. I'm also considering something like Xenical but don't know if its safe whilst TTC???
There is a Brissy lady who runs group workshops that are like support groups - not a gimmick or fad diet or anything. Will PM you some further details.
