Heartbroken :(

My beautiful Staffy Daisy who was a huge part of our family was stolen last year and so I bought a Maltese Terrior puppy months later just in case Daisy turned up. Molly was an amazing escape artist and could squeeze herself out of any small gap in our fence she got out 4 times and would go to another families house a street away. We were going to put fine chicken wire up this weekend and so I have not let her outside for the last week but somehow she got out yesterday afternoon and was hit by a car and killed....

I am so devastated she was only 6 months old and I feel so bad. Poor Molly died before the person that hit her even got her to the vet. We are going to pick her up and bury her in the back yard this afternoon.

I'm so sorry for your loss hun , RIP little Molly. I can imagine what you're going through, I have to put my beloved puss to sleep very soon and I'm absolutely dreading it. Big hugs sweetie, thinking of you. Wish we didn't have to go though this pain

Oh you poor thing. This same thing happened to me early last year with our 3 month old pup. We were outside and she got out because she wanted to play with us, then she saw a car. Its horrible. I was misserable for weeks, and now when I see a dog out, near a road, I often have a cry. It's such a horrible thing to happen, but we just cant stop it. Hope you feel better soon, just remember the good times with her, it helps.
