DD2 has a bad rappy rash. The worst I have seen on either of my girls. She was fine this arvo but when I took her nappy off tonight, she was blood red on both sides with blisters! It was painful for her when I wiped. She had a bowel movement but it has never affected her like this so maybe it was something she ate. What can I use to help her? I have put on Bepanthan. Will this work?
Bepanthen should work, it has an antiseptic in it too which will do a lot. When I use any cream, even nappy rash cream, I tend to put it on fairly sparingly. It could have been caused by something she ate, or if she is teething?
Hun, get out to a chemist and get "Nappy Mate" - its the stuff that they use at Princess Margs. Its really thick paste and you put it on super thick too, to cover the rash entirely. Its about $9 from the chemist but it is the absolute best stuff out there.
Bepanthan can be used, but it's not really thick enough to give the rash good waterproofing. Have you got any zinc cream like Sudocream hanging about? I would use that is you do.
HTH - fingers crossed your little one heals quickly!!
