bad breath and white tongue

My 12 month old has had real bad breath the last 2 days and today i looked and shes got a white tongue but in about the middle its quite thick yukky,has anyone else had this or know what it is?My first thought was thrush but doesnt that have white spots through the mouth?this is only on the tongue,i was thinking just try brushing it off or get some pro biotics?any ideas anyone?

my first thought was thrush too, but DD's tongue does that (not to mention the bad breath) when she has tonsillitis.
Does bub have a sore throat.

Yep sounds like Tonsilitis to me too. Thats what I used to get when I was younger and now. I had it heaps when I was little.

It could be either thrush or bacterial - both can look pretty similar. The best bet is to get a doctor to have a look and let you know which it is.
