Question Angel Care Movement Monitor - til when?

Hey looking for some advice here.

DD2 has Angel care monitor with movement pads, (I never had one with DD1) I am wondering when you are supposed to take these off?
The reason I am considering it, as the alarm goes off 2-5 times a day/night as she moves and sleeps off the pads. I have tried moving pads apart but this has made things worse if anything. I have changed sensitivity which I fear is now doing nothing.

So how long do you leave them on for? DD2 is 7.5mths.

Until you are comfortable. There is no set time limit. We still have ours on & DD is 11.5 months but I like being able to hear her & I haven't worked out how to just use it as a sound monitor so the movement stuff is still active.

I would be happy with JUST the sound monitor....but then part of me says 'what if'

I dont think there is any set time at all, as Winter said remove it when you are comfortable, I still have ours in DD's bed and she is 2.5yrs, I dont think I am paranoid it just feels good to have a little peice of mind and also be able to hear her at night as she still wakes most nights, do what you feel happy with, and yeah if its going off all the time I would contact the company and ask them for advice, tell them you have done what it recomends and are still having issues with it going off1

    good luck

wow have you got the sesitivity set to high as such ... we only had the one pad version with Jack and we only had a occasional alarm and we used it while he was in cot so he was 27 mths when I stopped using

Till they were out of their cots. With DD1 that was 15 months, DD2 was 18 months. Never had issues with the alarm going off or anything.

I used to use mine till they went into a bed.

Adjust the sensitivity if it is always going off.. And maybe put them at a diagonal pattern at each end of the cot
