All the food DD doesn't eat

DD is going through a phase of picking at her food.

I am trying to be okay with it, but the amount of waste we're creating is bothering me!

I am finding myself eating a fair bit of her left overs, because I don't want to throw it out, but I am worried about all the extra kjs and I don't want to eat just because she won't!

So, what do you do with the food your little one picks at but doesn't eat? Oh, and we don't have dogs or cats, but if we were at my parents' house, it would go to the chooks or the pigs!

You should be able to compost anything that's not meat or dairy. Our little doggie gets the leftovers here .

is there a way you could incorporate it into your lunch the next day?

Same thing happens here. I just tell myself that she would have eaten it anyway so technically I'm not wasting. Silly, but it makes me feel better. The dog gets meat and the rest gets chucked.
