    new kitchen!!! YAY =)))

ok, this is a build rather than a renovation (but as others have mentioned, there is no "new home building" section in here, so we have to piggy back on the best available!)

My kitchen arrived on Friday, and started getting installed TODAY!! It looks so magic =)

I'm so excited, I did two blog posts on it today - one of pics from about midday, the other from 5pm-ish
    Day #180 – kitchen installation!
    More pics!

Sorry - just feeling SO *squeeeee!!!!* that I had to share =)

Thanks!!! It is SO exciting =) This is absolutely my most favourite part of the building process so far. We put so much effort into getting the kitchen design right ( Kitchen Selection ), and it cost an arm and a leg to do it this way, but I think it will be absolutely perfect for us =) I can't wait to cook in there! It is so awesome to see it actually coming to life! Not *quite* as awesome as seeing Alyssa after all the planning and baking, but not insanely far from it

I got to make a deal with the hubby - he wanted to spend a fortune adding home automation, so I got to match him on the kitchen All of this is at the expense of wardrobes (which I now have to fit out myself!) and landscaping, but the stuff that is hard or even more expensive to do later has now been done =) I'm absolutely rapt!

latest update on the blog - we now have the drawers and cabinet doors in place! Looks a lot more complete, although will still be a couple of weeks before the stone benchtops arrive.

    Cabinetry almost complete

My face is aching from all this smiling =))))))
