    IVF Australia

I recently saw my Dr whom advised we go through IVF Australia for IVF as it means we can do it all in our home town except for the egg collection and transfer. Originally we were going to try through Sydney IVF.

Now the book I have said a treatment cycle was $4675 just wondering if I can except any hidden fees and what is not included in these fee's that I don't know about? It that for the basics and I still pay for scans, blood tests, drugs etc?

Also does IVFAustralia have a big waiting list? My Dr wanted us to try abit longer (mainly due to our ages 27 & 28) and we have been able to get pregnant before I had an ectopic pregnancy (nothing since) I just wanted to know that when we are ready I wont be then put on a 6month waiting list.

Anything else you know I'd love to know also.

Hi hon I don't have any answers but wanted to wish you all the best! Now that you have made a decision to go ahead some of the stress may be taken off. I'd say the best people to ask those questions to would be IVF Australia, they should be pretty upfront and open about fees because it is such a large amount surely 'parents to be' are asking them every day. We started looking into the fertility clinic here and they were so lovely and welcoming, I have no doubt that if we went down that road we would have been well looked after and all of our questions would have been answered. Goodluck my friend and I can't wait to ready your PG announcement really soon
