High Risk Downs Syndrome not having an Amino

Hi

Our 12 week DS test came back with a risk factor of 1:130 which was the result of a lw PAPPA-A. We have had the 19 week scan and it has come back normal including a very visable nasal bone.

I was just keen to know if there was anyone else out there that might be in the same situation...

hi i was in the same situation we were classified as high risk i was even told to abort my child by a very rude doctor, even at the 20 week scan things were not looking good in terms of our daughter having DS so we mentally prepared ourselves to have a baby with DS and were completely suprised when she was born without it

we were in a similar situation with DD2 with a 1:156 chance due to low pap A. Fia was born premmie but so was her elder sister (didn't have nuchal with DD1) so I don't know whether that was a fator or just my body not wanting to have the last 6 weeks of pregnancy
