Unhappy 2.5 year old won't brush teeth! HELP!

Our 2 and a half year old won't brush her teeth or let me or DH do it

She used to let DH brush her teeth and even give it a go herself, but now she just flatly refuses.

We've tried everything, different toothbrushes (even a Dora one, who is her fav character ATM), different toothpastes, We've tried to make it fun in all sorts of ways, We've tried brushing our own teeth in front of her and encouraging her to do the same as well. But nothing is working

Would love some idea's please. I don't want her getting cavities.

have you let her brush your teeth??? otherwise dont push it, let it be for a while (i know not ideal) but its better than making the situation worse. have you tried no toothpast?? or snappy jaws from the health shop thats strawberry flavour, some kids dont like mint at all!

She hates toothpaste fullstop so we don't even bother with that now. I did find a strawberry flavour one too but she didn't go for it.
I'm tryuing not to push it, Just a little gentle encouragement. It's been about amonth so hopefully we get though this phase soon.

Thanks again, I'll definately give the electric toothbrush idea a go.

Lol, that's what we've been doing. Giving her her toothbrush at bathtime. She ends up brushing the sides of the bath with it

Ashton loves to brush in the bath. I just give it to him and he plays for a while and attempts to brush... it's not the best job but it will do
Another idea is a face cloth in the meantime
