I'm asking for a friend.

She was due for her AF on Monday and being now Sunday she still hasn't got it. She said that her and partner DTD on friday. She also said that she couldn't have concieved any earlier. What are the chances of falling pregnant so close to AF being due?

She's asking as she said she feels like shes pregnant, she already has a son.

it's not impossible, but highly unlikely if her AF is due tomorrow. her progesterone would already be falling. the egg is only viable for about 24-48 hours after ovulation. she would have to have ovulated a second time in her cycle

Oops. I don't think i worded it properly. She was due for AF on the 8th of this month she and her partner DTD on the 5th so 3 days before.

i believe ovulation is in the middle of the cycle, so if she was due on the 8th, then she probably ovulated around the 22nd of the previous month... and eggs are only viable for up to 72 hours.

So its not likely. If they had sex between the 20th - 25th then the chances of conception are fairly high... but not after the egg is no longer viable.
