    DIY hand/foot prints

I just used a crayola non toxic paint that came with a paint brush. Definitely do it while bub is asleep - will decrease your mess and increase your chances of getting her to open her hand. Most babies just want to curl their hands into fists. Be organised about it and have everything set up in one spot and a washer or wipes handy to wipe the paint off. Good luck

I used a craft stamp pad when I did them.

Yes their fingers especially can be hard to uncurl... Maybe do feet first so that you get the hang of it.

I recommend using archive quality acid free paper. The ones I did for my 15yo in 1995 are still good but the paper has gone a bit yellow.
