FTB when going on maternity leave

I'm thinking about finishing work earlier than I was first thinking but still within the 6 weeks before my due date.

Since the begining of the financial year we chose not to get our FTB on a fortnightly basis but rather as a lump sum at the end of the tax year.
If I do decide to finish earlier, can I change this and recieve any of my FTB in those couple of weeks between when I finish and the end of the tax year? It would mean my estimate would be lower as I wouldn't be working the whole tax year...

Yes you can. Give them a ring and they can change it for you. You can stop and start anytime.
It will be adjusted as to what income estimate you give them.
