    Is this breast refusal?

    Hi Everyone,

DD (8 months) has started to bite my right breast at almost every feed. She won't feed off it for long when she does attach properly. I am getting scared to offer it now. She seems ok on the left breast but doesn't like the right (which is our least preferred breast from the beginning)

    TIA xxoo

it doesnt sound like it to me.. it sounds like some one has figured out that a little nip makes mum jump
tell her it hurts and not to bite and she needs to have a good feed (she will understand )
I hope this stage will pass soon

Could be your breasts are similar to mine. My RHS is pretty useless, LOL! The flow is slower and the capacity is less. Both kids have preferred my LHS from the get-go and both my girls have completely given up on the RHS by about 8-9mo. The only time I can get Phoebe to take my RHS is in the middle of the night, and even then she won't feed for long.
If its any consolation, it is possible to only feed from one side (though not ideal of course, but possible). I often look quite lopsided, but feeding time is less stressful now that we just don't bother with the right.

Ellibam - The little cherub thinks it is oh so funny to watch my squeal.

Snacks- I think what you've described is the same as what I've experienced. Miss RHB has always been the lazy boob and she is a lot small too. Thanks for your insight

Most women have a breast they feel isnt up to scratch or that bub is fussy on. at some point it does change(i dont remember when) and baby/toddler will take it anyway
i always had a fast boob and a slow one.
