On hot nights I just dress my DD in a nappy and singlet and wrap her (in a cot sheet). I also have a fan going in her room.

If your baby needs to be swaddled, just wrap them naked in a thin Muslin. (I got a pack of two from Big W, they are very thin)
There are also sleeping bags, I had one but it had no sleeves so DD hated it, she needed to be completely swaddled.
New babies sleep better swaddled, so the shock reflex doesn't keep waking them.

I put Anelise in a nappy, singlet and into her woombie, which has been the best thing we have ever bought.

I usenNappy, Singlet and into an ergococcoon. Just brought it online and is wonderful especially for older bubs not to sure how it would go for a newborn. I too would like to know what a woombie is?

Hi, when the weather was hot I would dress my babies in a singlet and nappy, or a light one piece, and wrap them in a thin muslin wrap.

Google it. Anelise loves to be wrapped, but because she is so long and most of the wraps we've got are smaller, she gets out of them. She can't get out of the woombie and sleeps so well in it as she is covered but not restricted.

At the moment DD#2 wears a singlet and a nappy or just a nappy and is wrapped in a cot sheet, but i've been looking at getting an ergo-cocoon

Like you I'm constantly stressed about the too hot / too cold thing.

I'm another fan of the woombie. Hot nights are singlet and woombie.

They are so cute Stevie... Anelise has a yellow one and she looks like a lolly banana with a head when she is in it! lol
We've got to get some more as I am over washing & drying the same one for her to wear to bed that night. Once she in in her woombie she knows it is sleep time which is another good thing about it.

Oh i love it its so cute.

Lisa , how do they go leg room wise? is there any probs with room for bubs legs ?

My DD always kicks her way out of her wrap when i wrap her and it stresses me out as i worry about it going over her face and stuff

They're no worries leg room wise. Anelise kicks around in hers when she wants to get out of the cot in the mornings. The material is stretchy, like a bonds type Tshirt.

I just googled the woomie. Looks very similar to ergococcoon but has more of colours and a bit more pricey
