How to make bed in motorhome safe for 11th old

    Hi,

We are heading off to New Zealand to do the motorhome thing soon and was wondering how I can make the queen size bed safe for DD who will be 11mths old by then. We will not be co-sleeping or anything - rather, she will be in her own bed at the end of the motorhome (we are getting a 6 berth so she can have a bed at the rear).

She has only just started to crawl within the last few days (at 10ths) so I don't anticipate she will be super-mobile by then (ie. certainly not walking or anything).

I just would rather not have to take the portacot as I don't imagine there will really be much room for it anyway. Will cushions be enough to prevent her from escaping? Or a bed rail? Or are there any purpose-made items or tricks anyone knows of?

While I'm at it, does anyone have any other advice or suggestions for travelling with a crawler in a motorhome for 10 days? Thanks heaps.

Take some of the pillows cushions off one of the seats and put your bub on that to sleep on the floor.. that is waht we do in canada.. so bub cant roll off
