well i for one Ali, are very much in your shoes, tho my DH isnt away fro anywhere near as long as yours is - i do know how your feeling.
It can be very difficult when your partner is away as much as he is home (sometime away more)

While DH is away I face some similar circumstances in day to day living that a single mum faces, however we are very much together. So I am kind of feeling a bit in limbo. I know I am not the only one on the forum that does the part time single thing but I just feel kind of like an imposter here even though I am facing the same no-break sort of daily living.
Just wondering what your thoughts are on my situation, and dont worry, I wont be offended if you say that I dont fit here.

HI Alioops,I am in your shoes too, my DH is away 6 weeks at a time and back for 2...is / was there a 'partners away from home' thread, not sure if it it still being used, I should go check it out...
In the relationships section there is a thread for partners that work away/are away, I think that would be better than this area. x
