We don't use our pram often these days and DS is just over 2. He pretty much walks everywhere, including the shops, and if he gets tired or I need to be quick I'll put him in a trolley.
Stop going in a pram?
DD1 is 4 in august im looking at getting a new pram nowish. We currently have a valco baby runabout, and i hate it! the only good thing about it is the toddler seat, which DD1 loves going in and having "adventures" its a PITA to push when she's in there.
i'm not worried about her running off at the shops, more that she walks very very slowly and it'll take me forever to get anywhere!
i thought about getting a second seat on a p and t or strider plus but she wont like laying back IYKWIM?
so when did ur big little person stop using the pram?

lol, now that would be a sight to see![]()
I haven't used my pram at the shops for about 4 months. If we go to the shops, I just get a trolley for DD2 and DD1 walks with me. DD1 hasn't been in a pram for about 2 years.
We stopped when dd was born. At the moment, ds walks. If we're at the shops i use the sling and the trolley, but I never seem to be there with both of them anyway![]()
Wish DD wanted to stay in the pram. when she started walking 12mths she did NOT want to stay in the pram at all =(
It was very hard shopping and going out and about. Now we have a cheapy $20 stroller for just in case she is tired times.
DD stopped religiously being in there about 3 I think. We always gave her the option.
I never bought a double or toddler seat though.
I haven't had to use the stroller much at all the past few months. Only when I am going to be out all day with him and I know he will get tired, or if I know I have a lot of walking to do - he is as fast as an old man when he walks ROFL and he slows me down.
DD is 2 and a half and we really don't use the stroller that much. If she doesn't want to be in it, it's just too hard. She leans forward, drags her hands on the ground, tries to headbutt the footpath and basically carries on like a pork chop and has been like that for about a year.
I've been pondering what to do when DD2 comes along. I don't think it will be worth spending the money on a double pram so I may use DD1's old pram for the baby and let DD1 walk or I could put DD1 in the stroller and use a sling for DD2.
