    my 21st speech WDYT?

ok the spelling may not be 100% but i just need some Opinions on it - as im not letting DH or any one else read it so i thought i'd ask you lovely ladies.

I’d like to thank all of you for coming tonight. I’ve been lucky enough to have family come down from Mildura and friends come from 10 houses down tonight. Thank you to every one who has travelled to be here to night. Just as well it’s the last 21st for a long while now!

When I wrote this speech - in fount of a computer with my lovely hot chicken soup I thought at this point at the night I’d have red eyes from crying from laughing. Who knows maybe even hyperventilating from laughing too hard…yes that’s why im blonde I laugh too much and I seem to forget that I need to BREATH while doing that.. I had no idea what I was to be suspected or accused of doing by Nikki, floss or my lovely DH. I have no idea of what stories where to have been told. All I knew was that they’d relish the chance to embarrass me - A LOT. Why not? I’d do the same to them!

There are a few people who couldn’t make it tonight. Thanks to post-man pat being unable or maybe unwilling to try and read my hand writing. Others sadly didn’t have the choice. that’s why tonight I’ve got photos of both Pa and Uncle Bruce up, they’re never far from our thoughts. Both of these men ment a lot to me growing up. Even if I did want the same car as uncle Bruce - only to be told I needed a more ’practical car’

I’d like also to thank mum and dad for putting up with me for the past 21(ish) years. To nikki for being an older- but shorter sister. Who managed to stuff her back doing yoga. Yep. Clever sosage we have there. Floss for being a wonderful friend and so supportive - for taking the photo of me on mine and DH’s wedding day. And most of all DH. For marrying me dispite when he proposed I called him a b@$tard several times and told him not to lie to me. Guess he wasn’t lying or joking when he asked. We’ve got one wonderful son, DJ and another “bundy” in the oven. Which I wouldn’t have any other way. But I’m sure DH is hoping that bundy will look a lot more like him then DJ did - it’s a scary thing giving birth to a baby who looks like your DAD!

I'd also like to thank both Pa and dad for the 21st key that I've been given. as i know getting this means a lot of time, effort and love was put into this. i also know that it would have been hard on dad to have finished it. a job his father started. as a key has been given to all the grand kids from Dan Spencer though to me. i feel so lucky to have been given this. it'll be hung proudly in our house, something i will treasure and hold dear to my heart.

I’d also like to thank all of you for coming tonight. it’s the last travel for the year for most of you. Well other then auntie j, uncle r, auntie r and uncle r who are heading to South Australia next weekend, that is if it doesn’t flood as every other place they‘ve picked to go to has...QLD blame them! This’ll be the last long hall travel for a 21st.
will my dad make a speech before me? cus if not i can take the part out about the key. (a wooden key my par turned out of wood, that my father will have finished for him.)

what do you think? i have no idea what my sister, my good friend of DH (or my dad) will have said about me...so i may have to "wing" part of my speech...and i speak last dont i?

... i went to gorgeous BB member Dedicated_Mumma (Kass) 21st birthday party and her parents spoke individually first then Kass had the last speech ... it's perfect that way , especially Dad's usually know how to get everyone's attention for a speech and break the ice by he throwing in a few laughs, don't forget this is the parents special moment in time too to see their child reach a very special birthday & they are more than entitled to either tease or slightly embarrass you the b'day gal in front all (um, sorry to say but comes with the territory & it's usually expected, LOL )

(I was never lucky enough to have my folks at my 21st ... but would have given the world if they were as it shows they truly care about you) ... so on that note Dani relax if you can today (need the energy for tonight, ha ), get yourself all dolled up later and then kick up your heels tonight and ENJOY ... only one shot at a 21st, can never been done again .... SO GO FOR IT

    Happy 21st Birthday Dani
