    The dream is shattered!

Well, six weeks after opening our own restarant with a partner is has all gone pear shapped!!
We invested money in the set up and have also paid 6 weeks rent so would have lost a stack of money if we just pulled out so that was not an option, luckily our business partner....who was the root of the problem actually bought us out, still lost a bit but got most of our money we put in back!
It was just impossible to work with him, ha was making so very bad business decisions, and the business was not going to thrive with him in it! Apart from the fact that he acts like a child and abuses my DP....hes a crappy chef too!
Im sad becasue it was ment to be our chance to get a good start and all we wanted was a happy little family restaurant, wish is NOT what it was with him involved. so we have stepped away before it got to embarasing or expencive!
at least we had a go, and we will have another go when the situation arrises, but will know better than to rush in to anything with some one you 'think' you know and you 'think' will be a good partner!
It was a good situation and we couldnt afford to do it on our own, ad thats why we ended up in it with him, wer lucky to get out now really. Sorry im rammbling now, still a bit upset i guess, although DP is happy! thanks for reading

I'm sorry things haven't worked out for you, but I'm glad you got out before things went really bad.
